An occasional rant or two on matters liturgical and musical, with other stuff thrown in for good measure.
Well said, particularly the opening sentence or two: "The Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silent before Him." As to garb, I have changed my attitude since that day long ago when I read in Michener's Hawaii, how the natives adorned themselves with clothing provided from the States, without the same influence that we had of gender training. In the equatorial heat, they are not ashamed of bare flesh; so what, if a man is in shirtsleeves? Western pudency reveals more about ourselves than anyone else.
